A Union County man was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and terroristic threats following an investigation into an incident that occurred at a Centennial Avenue business.
On Friday November 15th, 2024 at 21:42 hours, Cranford Police responded to a business on the 300 block of Centennial Avenue after an employee reported being threatened with a knife. Upon arrival, the victim advised Officers that an unknown individual had approached them and repeatedly threatened to harm them with a knife. A physical altercation ensued where the victim was able to overpower the suspect. The suspect ultimately fled on foot prior to police arrival on scene.
During a follow up investigation, Detective Daniel Donnerstag of the Cranford Police Department was able to identify the suspect as Sky Pierrelouis, 24, Linden, New Jersey.
The Union County Prosecutor’s Office approved charges against Pierrelouis for 3rd Degree Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, 4th degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and 3rd Degree Terroristic Threats. With the assistance of the Union County Sheriff’s Office, Pierrelouis was taken into custody on February 6, 2025 without incident.
At the time of this arrest, Pierrelouis, was committed to the Union County Jail pending a detention hearing.
