"Good afternoon,

We would like to provide you with an upate on the incident that was communicated earlier. We originally reported that a Cranford High School student received a threat via SnapChat that could possibly involve CHS. The school immediately reported the incident to the Cranford Police Department who investigated the incident and determined it to be non-credible.

Please be further advised that the investigation revealed that the threat via SnapChat referred to a school in another state that has the same initials as Cranford High School.

We cannot thank our police department enough for their outstanding efforts and partnership!"
