Five men from Pennsylvania were arrested for possessing distribution-level narcotics and a loaded firearm during a motor vehicle stop on North Avenue on Friday, September 11, 2026.

At approximately 3:43 AM, police stopped a 2016 Infiniti near Springfield Avenue due to several traffic violations. During the investigation, Cranford Police Officers discovered a significant amount of marijuana packaged for distribution, as well as a large-capacity firearm loaded with 21 rounds of ammunition inside the Infiniti. All five occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody without incident.

The driver and four passengers were charged with multiple narcotics and weapons offenses, including:

- Second-degree possession of a firearm

- Second-degree possession of a weapon during controlled dangerous substance (CDS) offenses

- Third-degree possession of marijuana with intent to distribute

The individuals arrested are:

- Jasir Brown, 23, from Glenolden, PA (Driver)

- Tyson Texidor, 22, from Philadelphia, PA

- Keith Williams, 24, from Philadelphia, PA

- Keyshawn Sims, 21, from Philadelphia, PA

- Dahfir Ahmad-Wilson, 21, from Philadelphia, PA

At the time of their arrest, all five were held at the Union County Jail pending a detention hearing.
