05/17/202 at 1440 hours- Lincoln Avenue East

Arrested:        

Braulio Hernandez Curi, 42, Elizabeth, NJ

Arrested by:   

Officer Daniel Norton

Charges:         

Driving While Intoxicated, Careless Driving

Remarks:

On 05/17/2024 at 1440 hours Officer Daniel Norton observed a vehicle cross the double yellow line on Lincoln Avenue East. The vehicle was stopped and after a brief investigation the driver, Braulio Hernandez Curi, 42. Elizabeth, NJ was arrested and charged with driving While Intoxicated and Careless Driving. He was released on a summons pending a Municipal Court Hearing.

 

05/21/2024 at 0033 hours- North Avenue at the Garden State Parkway Interchange

Arrested:        

James McNeil, 61, Newark, NJ

Thomas Dobbs, 61, Newark, NJ

Arrested by:

Officer Antonio Bellomo

Charges:

Dobbs: Possession of Heroin, Possession of Paraphernalia, Careless Driving

McNeil: Outstanding Warrant

Remarks:        

On 05/21/24 at 0033 hours Officer Antonio Bellomo stopped a vehicle for Careless Driving on North Avenue at the Garden State Parkway. After a brief investigation the driver, Thomas Dobbs, 61, Newark, was arrested for Possession of Heroin, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Careless Driving. The passenger, James McNeil, 61, Newark, NJ, was arrested on an open warrant originating in East Orange,NJ. McNeil was released pending a Municipal Court Date in East Orange and Dobbs was released on a summons pending a Superior Court hearing.

 

05/22/2024 at 2332 hours – Rutgers Road

Arrested:

Jemson Thelusma, 36, Irvington, NJ

Arrested by:

Officer Travis Freeman

Charges: Driving While Intoxicated, Possession of Open Container

Remarks:

On 05/22/2024 at 2332 hours Officer Travis Freeman responded to a home on Rutgers Road on a report of a blocked driveway. Upon arrival he observed a vehicle that was operated by Jemson Thelusma, 36, Irvington, NJ, blocking a resident’s driveway. After a brief investigation Thelusma was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of an Open Container in a Vehicle. Thelusma was released on a summons pending a municipal court hearing.
