On 05/01/2025 at approximately 10:22 hours while conducting a check of a business parking lot located within the 300 block of North Avenue East Officer Cook located a suspicious occupied vehicle. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Cook arrested the driver, Jennifer Soloway, 51, Laurence Harbor, NJ, for possession of CDS- heroin. Soloway was processed and provided a Superior Court appearance date.
05/02/2025 @ 22:15 hours – Centennial Avenue at Raritan Road

On 05/02/2025 at approximately 22:15 hours, police were dispatched to the intersection of Centennial Avenue and Raritan Road on the report of a motor vehicle crash. After an investigation by Officer Tufano one of the driver’s, Alberta Fraser, 65, Clark, NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Fraser was processed and provided a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Fraser was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, reckless driving, refusal to submit breath samples and leaving the scene of an accident.

On 05/03/2025 at approximately 22:32 hours, police stopped a 2006 Honda for numerous moving violations on Raritan Road near Coleman Avenue. Subsequent to an investigation by Officer Tufano, the driver, Edward Gisondi, 45, Linden, NJ was arrested for possession of CDS Heroin and Cocaine. Gisondi was processed and provided a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, Gisondi, was issued motor vehicle summonses for delaying traffic and failure to use turn signal.

On 05/06/2025 at approximately 01:35 hours, police stopped a 2013 Dodge on Raritan Road and Moen Avenue for a moving violation. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Tufano arrested the driver, Jaquill Oliver, 33, Perth Amboy, NJ for driving while intoxicated. Oliver was processed and issued a Municipal Court date. In addition, Oliver, was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, reckless driving, refusal to submit to breath samples and improper turn.

On 05/08/2025 at approximately 03:07 hours, police stopped a 2012 Lincoln on Spruce Street and West End Avenue for a moving violation. Subsequent to an investigation by Officer Ricerca, the driver, Haydee Perez, 46, Hillside, NJ was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Perez was processed and issued a Municipal Court date. In addition, Perez, was issued motor vehicle summonses for open container of alcohol and failure to signal turn.

Remarks:
On 05/09/2025 at approximately 13:28 hours, police responded to a business within the 200 block of South Avenue East on the report of a stolen motor vehicle. Upon arrival Officers were informed that the owner had left the vehicle running as he entered a store. Subsequent to an investigation by Detective D’Agostino, David Wilson, 58, East Orange, NJ was identified as the suspect. On 05/29/2025 Detective D’Agostino located David Wilson operating an unrelated stolen motor vehicle on the Garden State Parkway in Kenilworth, NJ and placed him under arrest. Wilson was remanded to the Union County Jail pending a detention hearing.

Subsequent to an investigation by Officer Ricerca, the driver, Alexis Llumiquingatirado, 41, North Plainfield, NJ was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Llumiquingatirado was processed and issued a Municipal Court date. After being provided with the suspect description Detective D’Agostino observed the individual walking on South Avenue. After a brief foot pursuit, the suspect, Jason Hoven, 45, Elizabeth, NJ was placed under arrest. Hoven was processed and provided a Superior Court appearance date.

After an investigation by Officer King both the passenger, Ryan Ramirez, 28, Elizabeth, NJ and the driver, Esteban Grajales, 19, Dover, NJ were placed under arrest for possession of CDS- cocaine. Ramirez and Grajales were processed and provided a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, Grajales was issued motor vehicle summonses for suspended driver and improper window tint.
