Remarks:
On 06/25/2024 at 1507 hours Officer Gamba responded to a retail store located on South Avenue West on a report of shoplifting. The suspect, Louis Padilla, 45, South Plainfield, fled the store prior to police arrival but was located by Detective Rattigan on North Avenue at Lincoln Avenue. Padilla was taken into custody and charged with shoplifting. He was released on a summons pending a Municipal Court Hearing.

Remarks:
On 07/01/2024 Officer Antonio Bellomo stopped a vehicle that was being operated in a careless manner on North Avenue East. After a brief investigation the driver, Cristian Daniel Vallejo Cando, 24, Bloomfield, was placed under arrest and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Failure to Present Document and Careless Driving. Cando was released on a summons pending a Municipal Court Hearing.
