12/21/2023 @ 1835 hours- South Avenue West

Remarks:
On December 21st at 1835 hours police responded to a retail business on South Avenue West on a report of a shoplifting that had occurred. Responding police units located the suspect, Larry Fields, a short distance away and placed him under arrest. Fields was charged with shoplifting and was released on a summons pending a municipal court hearing.

Remarks:
On December 22nd at 1812 hours Officer Travis Freeman observed a vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway on Commerce Drive near Jackson Drive. After a brief investigation the driver, Curt Dillon, was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. He was issued additional summonses for refusal to submit to a breath test, obstructing the flow of traffic, and careless driving.

Remarks :
On December 23rd at 0306 hours Sergeant Shayne Temple observed a vehicle traveling westbound on North Avenue near Alden Street mount the median in the center of the roadway and strike a street sign, causing significant damage to the front end of the vehicle. Sergeant Temple stopped the vehicle and after a brief investigation arrested the driver, Andrea Caladmiranda, for driving while intoxicated. Caladmiranda was additionally charged with careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, and failure to keep right.
