Remarks:
On 07/16/2025 at approximately 23:17 hours, police stopped a 2015 Buick near the intersection of Centennial Avenue and Raritan Road for numerous motor vehicle violations. After an investigation by Officer Tufano, the driver, Frederick Wallace, 56, of Rahway, NJ, was placed under arrest for Possession of CDS- Cocaine and several outstanding warrants. Wallace was processed, provided a Superior Court appearance date, and turned over to the custody of the Rahway Police Department. In addition, Wallace was issued motor vehicle summonses for delaying traffic, improper window tint, unregistered vehicle and unlicensed driver.

After an investigation by Officer Duffy, Brianna Fillmore, 25, of Newark NJ, was arrested for hindering apprehension and several outstanding warrants. Fillmore was processed, provided a Municipal Court date, and turned over to the custody of the Union County Sheriff’s Office.

On 07/31/2025 at approximately 18:41 hours, police stopped a 2007 Chrysler near the Garden State Parkway Exit 137 Interchange for an equipment violation. After an investigation, Officer Duffy arrested the driver, Andy Velez, 34, of Fords, NJ, and a passenger, Tiffany Demone, 34, of Fords, NJ for possession of CDS – Cocaine and Heroin. Additionally, he arrested another passenger, Joan Pena, 38, of Fords, NJ, for several outstanding warrants. Velez and Demone were processed and provided a Superior Court date. Pena was processed, and turned over to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.

Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Tufano arrested Tara Wolfe, 48, of Elizabeth, NJ, for possession of CDS – cocaine. Wolfe was processed and provided a Superior Court date.

On 08/01/2025 at approximately 01:11 hours, police stopped a 2022 Dodge on Centennial Avenue for conducting an improper turn. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Tufano arrested the driver, Ashraf Samaan, 55, of Staten Island, NY, for driving while intoxicated. Samaan was processed and issued a Municipal Court date. In addition, Samaan, was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, improper turn, failure to keep right, driving without a license, and refusal to submit to breath testing.

On 08/02/2025 at approximately 23:28 hours police stopped a 2023 Ford on North Avenue East for a lane violation. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Freeman arrested the driver, Oscar Santiestaban, 55, of Roselle Park, NJ for driving while intoxicated. Santiestaban was processed and issued a Municipal Court date. In addition, Santiestaban, was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, failure to maintain lane, and refusal to submit to breath testing.

Remarks:
On 08/03/2025 at approximately 22:00 hours police stopped a 2016 Chevrolet on Raritan Road for several motor vehicle violations. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer McSharry arrested the driver, Patrick Mullen, 55, of Orange, NJ, for being a fugitive from justice. Mullen was wanted by the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office in Pennsylvania for drug related offenses. Mullen was processed and remanded to Union County Jail to await extradition to Bucks County, PA. Additionally, Mullen was issued citations for failure to stop at a posted stop sign and improper display of license plates.
