The Cranford Police Department is pleased to announce that it is actively accepting applications for the position of Sworn Police Officer. This test will be for Non-PTC Certified Applicants.
Non-PTC Certified Applicants are required to fill out an initial application located at THIS WEBSITE. All Non-PTC Certified Applicants must submit their application along with a certified/cashier's check or money order for $25.00 (testing administration fees) to the Township of Cranford by 4PM on August 15, 2025. Non-PTC Certified Applicants must participate in a written examination tentatively scheduled for September 10th, 2025. Those passing the written examination process will attend the physical ability assessment tentatively scheduled for October 1, 2025. Those selected to attend the John H. Stamler Police Academy will attend the Winter 2026 session, scheduled to graduate in June 2026.
