Cranford Police Arrest Blotter

01/28/2022 @ 1522 hours

100 Block of Park Drive

Arrested:              Braxton Hull, 40, Cranford, NJ; Jasming Arce, 37, Cranford NJ

Arrested by:         Patrolman Nelson Hearns, Jr.

Charges:              Burglary, Theft

Remarks:           On 01/28/2022 at approximately 1522 hours, police units were dispatched to the 100 block of Park Drive for the report of 2 individuals sitting inside another individual’s vehicle.  Subsequent to an investigation, Patrolman Nelson Hearns Jr. arrested Braxton Hull and Jasming Arce for burglary to a motor vehicle and theft.  Hull and Arce were processed and provided a Superior Court appearance date. 

 

01/30/2022 @ 2333 hours

100 Block of Walnut Avenue

Arrested:             Cornell Roper, 48, Cranford NJ

Arrested by:        Patrolman Ryan Drew

Charges:             Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit To Breath Testin

Remarks:        On 01/30/2022 at approximately 2333 hours, police stopped a 2011 Black Infiniti on the 100 Block of Walnut Avenue for careless driving.  Subsequent to an investigation, Patrolman Ryan Drew arrested the driver, Cornell Roper, for driving while intoxicated and refusing to submit to breath testing.  Roper was processed and provided a Municipal Court appearance date.  In addition, Roper was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, failure to maintain lane, and having an unregistered motor vehicle.

 

02/03/2022 @ 1458 hours

Centennial Avenue at North Lehigh Avenue

Arrested:             Kelly Tse, 30, Old Bridge, NJ

Arrested by:        Detective Sergeant Spencer Durkin

Charges:             Distribution of CDS, Possession of CDS Heroin

Remarks:            On 02/03/2022 at approximately 1458 hours, a 2016 Black Acura was stopped on Centennial Avenue at North Lehigh Avenue for having improper safety glass.  Subsequent to an investigation, Detective Sergeant Spencer Durkin arrested the driver, Kelly Tse, for distribution of CDS Heroin and Possession of CDS Heroin. Tse was processed and provided a Superior Court appearance date.  In addition, Tse was issued summonses for improper safety glass and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle.
