Remarks:
On 03/18/2023 at approximately 2146 hours, police were dispatched to the first block of South Union Avenue on the report of a disorderly person attempting to gain entry into an occupied vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect, Diar Dautaga of Cranford New Jersey, acting disorderly. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Rameil King arrested Dautaga for disorderly conduct. After being placed into handcuffs, Dautaga head-butted Officer King – and was charged additionally for aggravated assault on a police officer. Dautaga was processed and provided a Superior Court Appearance Date.

03/23/2023 @ 00:17 hours – Raritan Road at Moen Avenue

Remarks:
On 03/23/2023 at approximately 0017 hours, police stopped a Black 2013 Toyota on Raritan Road at Moen Avenue for a motor vehicle violation. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Ryan McSharry arrested the driver, Hasan Makhmudov of Union New Jersey, for possession of CDS heroin and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Makhmudov was processed and provided a Superior Court Appearance Date. In addition, Makhmudov was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, failure to wear a seat belt, and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle.

Remarks :
On 03/24/2023 approximately 2250 hours, police stopped a 2003 Volkswagen on Raritan Road at Moen Avenue for a moving violation. Subsequent to an investigation, Patrolman Christopher Folinusz arrested the driver, Connor Drake of Hellertown Pennsylvania, for possession of prescription pills, possession of CDS MDMA, possession of CDS paraphernalia, being under the influence of CDS and driving while intoxicated. Drake was processed and provided a Superior Court Appearance Date. In addition, Drake was issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to keep right, improper u-turn, careless driving, improper turn, unsafe lane change and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle.

Remarks:
On 03/30/2023 at approximately 2110 hours, police stopped a white 2003 Ford for a moving violation. After a brief investigation, Patrolman Ryan Drew arrested the driver, Deshan Johnson of Newark New Jersey, for having an outstanding warrant out of East Orange New Jersey. Subsequent to his arrest, Johnson was found to be in possession of CDS MDMA and CDS paraphernalia. Johnson was charged for possession of CDS MDMA and CDS paraphernalia, processed, and provided a Superior Court Appearance Date. In addition, Johnson was issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to observe a traffic signal, failure to keep right, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle and failure to exhibit a credential.
