05/24/2023 @ 0301– Cranford Hall at Centennial Avenue

Arrested:        

Shawana Felton, 49, Roselle, NJ

Arrested by:

Charges:         

Driving While Intoxicated

Remarks:

On 05/24/2023 at approximately 0301 hours, police stopped a 2020 Red Nissan on Cranford Hall at Centennial Avenue for a parking violation.  Subsequent to a brief investigation, Officer Gianna Ricerca arrested the driver, Shawana Felton of Roselle NJ, for driving while intoxicated. Felton was processed and provided a Municipal Court Appearance Date.  In addition, Felton was issued a motor vehicle summons for careless driving.

 

05/27/2023 @ 2343 hours – South Avenue East at Centennial Avenue

Arrested:        

Luis Jerez, 22, Union, NJ

Arrested by:

Officer Travis Freeman

Charges:

Driving While Intoxicated

Remarks:        

On 05/27/2023 at approximately 2343 hours, police stopped a 2017 Silver Honda for a moving violation.  Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Travis Freeman arrested the driver, Luis Jerez of Union NJ, for driving while intoxicated.  Jerez was processed and provided a Municipal Court Appearance Date.  In addition, Jerez was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving and delaying traffic.

 

05/29/2023 @ 2232 hours – Centennial Avenue at North Avenue East

Arrested:

Andrew Pottorff, 30, Roselle, NJ

Charges:

Driving While Intoxicated

Remarks :

On 05/29/2023 approximately 2232 hours, police responded to the report of a leaving the scene motor vehicle crash on Centennial Avenue at North Avenue East.  Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Joshua Sousa arrested the driver of a 2018 Black Hyundai, Andrew Pottorff of Roselle NJ, for driving while intoxicated.  Pottorff was processed and provided a Municipal Court Appearance Date. In addition, Porrorff was issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to report an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, careless driving, reckless driving, and delaying traffic.

 

06/05/2023 @ 0059 – Raritan Road at Centennial Avenue

Arrested:        

Hector Hernandez, 27, Linden NJ

Driving While Intoxicated

Remarks:

On 06/05/2023 at approximately 0059 hours, police stopped a 2004 Silver Toyota on Raritan Road at Centennial Avenue for a moving violation.  Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Ryan McSharry arrested the driver, Hector Hernandez, 27, of Linden NJ, for driving while intoxicated.  Hernandez was processed and provided a Municipal Court Appearance Date.  In addition, Hernandez was issued motor vehicle summonses for improper turn, failure to keep right, and failure to inspect.

 

06/05/2023 @ 1902 – North Avenue at the Garden State Parkway Northbound Interchange

Arrested:

Michael Holowka, 44, Westfield NJ

Arrested by:

Officer Christopher Folinusz

Charges:

Possession of CDS Heroin, Possession of Prescription Legend Drugs, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia

Remarks:

On 06/05/2023 at approximately 1902 hours, police stopped at 2006 White Ford on the Garden State Parkway Northbound Interchange off of North Avenue for a moving violation.  Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Christopher Folinusz arrested the driver, Michael Holowka of Westfield NJ, for Possession of CDS Heroin, Possession of Prescription Legend Drugs, and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia.  Holowka was processed and provided a Superior Court Appearance Date.  In addition, Holowka was issued motor vehicle summonses for possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, failure to wear a seatbelt, careless driving, failure to keep right, failure to signal turn and failure to inspect.

 

06/19/2023 @ 1835 – Raritan Road at Centennial Avenue

Arrested:

Edward Gisondi, 43, Linden NJ

Possession of CDS Crack-Cocaine, Possession of CDS Heroin, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia

Remarks:

On 06/19/2023 at approximately 1835 hours, police stopped a 2013 Black Honda for an equipment violation.  Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Christopher Folinusz arrsted the driver, Edward Gisondi of Linden NJ, for Possession of CDS Crack-Cocaine, Possession of CDS Heroin and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia.  Gisondi was processed and provided a Superior Court Appearance Date.  In addition, Gisondi was issued motor vehicle summonses for possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, improper registration plates, and failure to signal turn.
