Remarks:
On 10/06/2022 at approximately 2123 hours, a 2008 Silver Nissan was stopped on North Avenue at Elizabeth Avenue for multiple motor vehicle violations. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Christopher Folinusz arrested the driver, Francisco Fernandez of Jersey City, New Jersey, for Possession of CDS Methamphetamine, Possession of Prescription Legend Drugs, Possession of Intoxicating Chemicals, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. Fernandez was processed and provided a Superior Court Appearance Date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, driving while suspended, failure to have a driver’s license, and improper safety glass, and failure to maintain lamps.

On 10/21/2022 at approximately 2041 hours, police were dispatched to a business located on the 200 Block of South Avenue East for a shoplifting in progress. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Liam Duffy arrested Michael Scalici of Nutley New Jersey for shoplifting and possession of a prohibited weapon. Scalici was processed and provided a Superior Court Appearance Date.

On 10/31/2022 at approximately 0902 hours, a Gray 2002 Honda was stopped on Centennial Avenue at Elm Street for multiple motor vehicle violations. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Gianna Ricerca arrested the driver, Andrew Szlasa of Waverly NY, and the passenger, Sidney Oliverhollis of East Orange NJ, for possession of CDS paraphernalia (crack-pipe). Szlasa and Oliverhollis were processed and provided a Superior Court Appearance Date. In addition, Szlasa was issued motor vehicle summonses for using a cell phone, improper mirrors, and failure to observe a traffic signal. Oliverhollis was issued a motor vehicle summons for failing to wear a seatbelt.
