05/06/2023 @ 0752– North Avenue East at Elizabeth Avenue

Arrested:        

Shawn Morales, 23, Arverne New York

Arrested by:

Charges:         

Driving While Intoxicated

Remarks:

On 05/06/2023 at approximately 0752 hours, police stopped a 2021 Gray Nissan on North Avenue East at Elizabeth Avenue for a moving violation.  Subsequent to a brief investigation, Officer Ali Muhammad arrested the driver, Shawn Morales of Arverne New York, for driving while intoxicated. Morales was processed and provided a Municipal Court Appearance Date.  In addition, Morales was issued summonses for having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and delaying traffic.

 

05/18/2023 @ 1417 hours – 400 Block of South Avenue East

Arrested:        

Kelly Holt, 46, Medina New York

Arrested by:

Officer Courtney Meyer

Charges:

Forged Government Documents, Bad Checks, Credit Card Fraud

Remarks:        

On 05/18/2023 at approximately 1417 hours, police responded to a business on the 400 Block of South Avenue East on the report of fraud.  Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Courtney Meyer arrested Kelly Holt of Medina New York for forged government documents, bad checks, and credit card offenses.  Holt was processed and provided a Superior Court Appearance Date.

 

05/20/2023 @ 0201 hours – Ramapo Road at Cayuga Road

Jeffrey Bost, 27, Rahway New Jersey

Charges:

Driving While Intoxicated

Remarks :

On 05/20/2023 approximately 0211 hours, police stopped a 2018 White Mercedes Benz on Ramapo Road at Cayuga Road for a moving violation.  Subsequent to an investigation, Patrolman Christopher Folinusz arrested the driver, Jeffrey Bost, 27, of Rahway NJ, for driving while intoxicated.  Bost was processed and provided a Municipal Court Appearance Date. In addition, Bost was issued motor vehicle summonses for refusal to submit to breath testing, careless driving, and failure to observe a traffic control device.

 

05/21/2023 @ 2212–Springfield Avenue at Kenilworth Boulevard

Arrested:        

Wadley Corneille, 32, Springfield New Jersey

Arrested by:   

Officer Gianna Ricerca

Charges:         

Driving While Intoxicated

Remarks:

On 05/21/2023 at approximately 2212 hours, police were dispatched to the area of Springfield Avenue at Kenilworth Boulevard on a report of a driver delaying traffic at a traffic signal.  Officer Gianna Ricerca arrived on scene and located a 2021 Gray Honda delaying traffic.  Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Ricera arrested the driver, Wadley Corneille, 32, of Springfield NJ, for driving while intoxicated.  Corneille was processed and provided a Municipal Court Appearance Date.  In addition, Corneille was issued motor vehicle summonses for delaying traffic and careless driving.
