Infrastructure Projects - Multiple Roadways To Be Affected Starting July 25th, 2022

It has been brought to the attention of the Cranford Police Department and Township of Cranford that there are 2 major projects occurring in Cranford during the week of July 25th, 2022.

Penn Bower will be starting a project on behalf of Elizabethtown Gas next week, either on Monday 7/25 or Tuesday 7/26, tentatively. Streets Affected include Arlington Rd, Cranford Ave, Hamilton Ave, Madison Ave, and Sylvester St.  Questions may be directed to Elizabethtown Gas at 908-662-8399.

Carroccia Contractors is working on behalf of The Township of Cranford to improve the following streets:  Burnside Ave between Marsh St to Lincoln Ave, Monday 07/25 through Friday 07/29 (Weather permitting).  Construction will start with the proposed drainage improvements. Driveways will be inaccessible from 7:00am to 5:00pm daily. Work will begin at the Marsh Street side of Burnside Avenue and will continue towards Lincoln Avenue. Construction work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  For the duration of the project, there will be some inconveniences throughout the work zone. However, every effort will be made to assure that they are kept to a minimum. During construction, portions of on-street parking will be prohibited while this work is in progress.  Driveway access will be limited. Also, traffic will be detoured during the milling and paving days.
