On Wednesday November 10th, 2021 at a ceremony in the Cranford Police Department, the Italian American Police Society of New Jersey awarded Lt. Chris Polito, Ptl. Corey LoForte and Construction Official Frank Genova lifesaving awards for their efforts in successfully resuscitating a resident who collapsed in the Municipal Building on November 1st. Joining the ceremony was Mayor Kathleen Miller Prunty, Administrator Jamie Cryan, and members of the Police and Building Departments.
