1. On 01/01/2026 at 6:11 PM, Officer Christian Wilde, arrested 35-year-old, Richard Dressler, of Manchester, NJ for Shoplifting at a business located within the 10 block of South Avenue West. Dressler was processed and released pending a Superior Court date.
2. On 01/03/2026 at 2:55 AM, Officer Travis Freeman, arrested 32-year old, Tomorry Jernigan of Roselle, NJ for outstanding warrants and Resisting Arrest during a suspicious vehicle investigation at a business located within the 10 block of Jackson Drive. Jernigan was processed and released pending a Municipal Court date.
3. On 01/06/2026 at 12:46 AM, during a motor vehicle stop on Raritan Road, Officer Liam Duffy arrested 41-year-old, Joseph Kirkland, of Newark, NJ for Possession of CDS, Hindering Apprehension, and Receiving Stolen Property. Kirkland was issued two motor vehicle summonses and remanded to the Union County Jail.
4. On 01/07/2026 at 1:20 AM, during a motor vehicle stop on Centennial Avenue, Officer Liam Duffy arrested 44-year-old, Alexander Branch, of Easton, PA for Driving While Intoxicated. Branch was issued five motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Municipal Court date.
5. On 01/10/2026 at 1:33 AM, during a motor vehicle stop on Centennial Avenue, Officer Travis Freeman arrested 39-year-old, Sara Brown, of Winfield Park, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated. Brown was issued six motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Municipal Court date.
6. On 01/12/2026 at 10:33 AM, during a motor vehicle stop on Cayuga Road, Detective Timothy Handy arrested 30-year-old, Elias Rosado, of Brooklyn, NY for Possession of CDS, and Contempt of Court. Rosado was issued six motor vehicle summonses and remanded to the Union County Jail.
7. On 01/13/2026 at 6:21 PM, during a motor vehicle stop on Centennial Avenue, Officer Matthew Richel arrested 72-year-old, Lisa O’Reilly, of Cranford, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated. O’Reilly was issued eight motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Municipal Court date.
8. On 01/14/2026 at 8:23 PM, during a motor vehicle stop on North Avenue, Officer Nicolette Tufano arrested 47-year-old, Taneesha Grier, of Newark, NJ and 64-year old, Gerard Sabeth, of Edison, NJ for Possession of CDS. Additionally, Grier was charged with Hindering Apprehension. Sabeth was issued four motor vehicle summonses and both were released pending a Superior Court date.
9. On 01/22/2026 Detective Christopher Gross charged 45-year old Robert Mitchell and 50-year old, Peaches Mitchell, both of Hillside, NJ with theft of services following an investigation into a report filed by a business located within the 10 block of South Avenue. Robert Mitchell and Peaches Mitchell were released pending a Superior Court date.
10. On 01/23/2026 at 3:39 AM, during a motor vehicle stop on Raritan Road, Officer Nicolette Tufano arrested 29-year-old, Iman Fuller, of Newark, NJ for Possession of CDS. Fuller was issued two motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Superior Court date.
11. On 01/24/2026 at 7:53 PM, during a motor vehicle stop on Raritan Road, Officer Nicolette Tufano arrested 45-year-old, Craig Pitt, of Irvington, NJ for Possession of CDS. Pitt was issued three motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Superior Court date.
