Monthly Arrest Blotter - July 2026

Cranford Police Arrest Blotter July 2026:

  1. On 07/02/2026 at 1:22 AM during a motor stop on Centennial Avenue Officer Liam Duffy arrested 44-year-old Talik Washington of Rahway, NJ for possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS). Washington was issued six motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Superior Court date.
  2. On 07/03/2026 at 1:05 PM during a suspicious motor vehicle investigation at a business on North Avenue Officer James Wilson arrested 51-year-old Steven Ortiz of Newark, NJ for possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS). Ortiz was released pending a Superior Court date.
  3. On 07/03/2026 at 5:21 PM during a suspicious motor vehicle investigation on Cummings Street Officer Ryan Heesters arrested 21-year-old Shawncere Alexander of Brooklyn, NY for Disorderly Conduct. Alexander was released pending a Municipal Court date.
  4. On 07/15/2026 at 1:38 PM during a motor vehicle stop and investigation on Hillside Avenue Officer Matthew Siessel arrested 48-year-old Jorge Sanabriaortiz of Garwood, NJ for Eluding. Sanabriaortiz was issued seven motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Superior Court date.
  5. On 07/18/2026 at 7:16 PM during a motor vehicle investigation at a business on North Avenue Officer Rameil King arrested 36-year-old Nicole Nadler of Newark, NJ for possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS). Nadler was released pending a Superior Court date.
  6. On 07/19/2026 as a result of a follow up investigation by Detective Christopher Gross, 33-year-old Clifford Dominque of East Orange, NJ was charged with Forgery and Theft by Deception for passing several counterfeit bills at multiple businesses within downtown Cranford. Dominique was released pending a Superior Court date.
  7. On 07/20/2026 at 3:11 AM during a motor stop on North Avenue Officer Liam Duffy arrested 22-year-old Scott Dorsainvil of Union, NJ for possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS). Dorsainvil was issued three motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Superior Court date.
  8. On 07/20/2026 at 11:04 PM during a motor stop on Raritan Road Sergeant Daniel Donnerstag arrested 64-year-old Lillian Heacox of Torrington, CT for possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS). Heacox was issued four motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Superior Court date.
  9. On 07/23/2026 as a result of a follow up investigation by Detective Christopher Gross, 47-year-old Christopher Stroka of Cranford, NJ was charged with Criminal Trespass for an incident which occurred on Riverside Drive. Stroka was released pending a Superior Court date.
  10. On 07/26/2026 at 1:54 AM during a motor stop on Raritan Road Officer Nicolette Tufano arrested 34-year-old Kiahni Hughes of Linden, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated. Hughes was issued eight motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Municipal Court date.
  11. On 07/28/2026 at 1:17 AM during a motor stop on Raritan Road Officer Liam Duffy arrested 18-year-old Fuquan Moore of Somerset, NJ for Obstruction and Resisting Arrest. Moore was released pending a Municipal Court date.
  12. On 07/29/2026 as a result of a follow up investigation by Detective Christopher Gross,19-year-old Christian Santos of Franklin Lakes, NJ was charged with Shoplifting at a South Avenue businesses. Santos was issued a Municipal Court date.
  13. On 07/30/2026 as a result of a follow up investigation by Detective Michael Gamba, a 15-year-old from Westfield, NJ was charged with burglarizing a South Avenue business. The juvenile was issued a pending Superior Court date.
  14. On 07/30/2026 as a result of a follow up investigation by Detective Christopher Gross, 39-year-old Pedro Garcia, Elizabeth, NJ was charged with Theft for an incident that occurred on 07/08/2026 at a residence Oraton Drive. Garcia was issued a Municipal Court date.
