Cranford Police Arrest Blotter June 2026:

1. On 06/02/2026 at 9:45 PM during a motor stop on Raritan Road Officer Travis Freeman arrested 45-year-old Erwyn Allen of Newark, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated. Allen was issued seven motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Municipal Court date.
2. On 06/03/2026 at 2:26 AM during a suspicious motor vehicle investigation at a business on North Avenue Officer Joshua Sousa arrested 27-year-old Jack Bergen of Cranford, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of CDS. Bergen was issued four motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Superior Court date.
3. On 06/18/2026 at 11:00 AM subsequent to a follow up investigation by Detective Ryan McSharry, 25-year-old Sincere Smith of Elizabeth, NJ was charged with Shoplifting for an incident that occurred on 5/28/2026 at a South Avenue business. Smith was issued a Municipal Court date.
4. On 06/30/2026 at 12:43 AM during a motor stop on Raritan Road Officer Quinn Haddad arrested 37-year-old Antwon Abney of Newark, NJ for Possession of CDS. Abney was issued three motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Superior Court date.
