Cranford Police Arrest Blotter October 2026:

The information provided does not represent the total scope of police activity.  Individuals charged as a result of police investigations are merely an accusation.  All defendants should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

  1. On 10/05/2026 at 11:07 AM during a motor vehicle stop on Walnut Avenue 19-year-old Marquise Dawkins of Rahway, NJ was arrested for Obstruction and Resisting Arrest. Dawkins was released pending a Municipal Court date.
  2. On 10/08/2026 at 2:09 PM subsequent to a report of a fraudulent bank transaction at a South Avenue business, 69-year-old Julia Robey of Kearny, NJ was charged with Forgery, Theft by Deception, and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. Robey was issued a Superior Court date and remanded to the Union County Jail on numerous active warrants from unrelated matters.
  3. On 10/10/2026 at 2:40 AM during a motor vehicle stop on Centennial Avenue 30-year-old Phannavin Chhay of Lowell, MA was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Chhay was released pending a Municipal Court date.
  4. On 10/11/2026 at 11:29 PM during a motor stop on Raritan Road 40-year-old Wakene Darwood of East Orange, NJ was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Darwood was released pending a Municipal Court date.
  5. On 10/12/2026 at 10:59 AM during a motor vehicle stop on Centennial Avenue Richard Sanandres of Middlesex, NJ was charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. Sanandres was released pending a Superior Court date.
  6. On 10/16/2026 at 1:09 AM during a motor vehicle stop on Centennial Avenue 28-year-old Jamie Vazquezgomez of Linden, NJ and 23-year-old Jesus Cajomacias of Newark, NJ were charged with Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances with Intent to Distribute. Vazquezgomez and Cajomacia were released pending a Superior Court date.
  7. On 10/16/2026 at 10:43 AM during a motor vehicle stop on North Union Avenue 54-year-old Dani Pak of Flushing NY was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Pak was released pending a Municipal Court date.
  8. On 10/16/2026 at 8:06 PM during a motor stop on Centennial Avenue 35-year-old Khairi Law of Irvington, NJ was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Law was released pending a Municipal Court date.
  9. On 10/28/2026 at 8:35 PM during a motor stop on North Avenue 29-year-old Gilberto Salgado of New Brunswick, NJ was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Salgado was released pending a Municipal Court date.
  10. On 10/30/2026 at 8:30 PM during a motor stop on North Avenue 27-year-old Damien Echeverria of Elizabeth, NJ was charged with Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances. Echeverria was released pending a Superior Court date.
