Cranford Police Arrest Blotter September 2026:

The information provided does not represent the total scope of police activity.  Individuals charged as a result of police investigations are merely an accusation.  All defendants should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

 

1. On 09/03/2026 at 10:13 AM during a suspicious persons investigation on Myrtle Street 34-year-old Kenneth Meier of Cranford, NJ was arrested for Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances.  Meier was released pending a Superior Court date.
2. On 09/03/2026 at 2:15 PM subsequent to a damaged property investigation on Meeker Avenue 79-year-old Michael Caruso of Cranford, NJ was charged with Criminal Mischief. Caruso was issued a Municipal Court date.
3. On 09/04/2026 at 11:48 PM during a motor vehicle stop on North Avenue 42-year-old Norberto Ramirez of Newark, NJ was charged with Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances. Ramirez was issued seven motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Superior Court date
4. On 09/07/2026 at 12:57 AM during a motor stop on North Avenue 37-year-old Juan Mendezmedina of Newark, NJ was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Mendezmedina was issued nine motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Municipal Court date.
5. On 09/09/2026 at 10:37 PM during a suspicious persons investigation on South Avenue 39-year-old Amir Campbell of Newark, NJ was charged with Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances. Campbell was released pending a Superior Court date
6. On 09/10/2026 at 1:20 AM during a motor vehicle stop on Centennial Avenue 29-year-old Michael Herko, of Staten Island, NY and 24-year-old Dana Seminara of Annandale, NJ were charged with Possession with the Intent to Distribute Controlled Dangerous Substances. Herko and Seminara were released pending a Superior Court date.
7. On 09/10/2026 at 10:40 PM during a motor stop on North Avenue 28-year-old Omar Camacho of Irvington, NJ was charged with Improper Transport of a Firearm. Camacho was issued one motor vehicle summons and released pending a Superior Court date.
8. On 09/11/2026 at 1:48 AM during a motor vehicle stop on Centennial Avenue 28-year-old Anthony Moretti of Clark NJ was charged with Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances. Moretti was released pending a Superior Court date.
9. On 09/14/2026 at 10:06 PM during a motor vehicle stop on South Avenue 54-year-old Lawande Bryant of Roselle NJ was charged with Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances. Bryant was issued one motor vehicle summons and was released pending a Superior Court date.
10. On 09/15/2026 at 11:09 AM subsequent to a burglary investigation at a commercial business on Jackson Drive 32-year-old Divinete Jeffries of Newark, NJ was charged with Burglary, Theft and Credit Card offenses. Additionally, 25-year-old Shadee Glover of East Orange NJ was charged with Credit Card offenses. Both were remanded to jail pending detention hearings.
11. On 09/17/2026 at 10:37 PM during a motor stop on North Avenue 43-year-old Christopher Poirier of Cranford, NJ was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Improper Transport of a Firearm. Poirier was issued seven motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Superior Court date.
12. On 09/19/2026 at 6:50 PM during a motor vehicle stop on North Avenue 59-year-old Francesco Perrone of Cranford, NJ was charged with Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances. Perrone was issued one motor vehicle summons and released pending a Superior Court date.
13. On 09/20/2026 at 2:39 AM during a motor stop on Centennial Avenue 34-year-old Jerome Mcgrowder of Linden, NJ was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Mcgrowder was issued six motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Municipal Court date.
14. On 09/20/2026 at 8:00 PM during a motor stop on North Avenue 28-year-old Jonathan Gonzalez of Irvington, NJ was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Gonzalez was issued seven motor vehicle summonses and released pending a Municipal Court date.
15. On 09/22/2026 at 10:09 AM subsequent to a suspicious persons investigation at a Walnut Avenue location 47-year-old Christopher Stroka of Cranford, NJ was charged with burglary. Stroka was issued a Superior Court date.
16. On 09/24/2026 at 9:33 PM Cranford Police units were assisting the Linden Police Department on a leaving the scene motor vehicle accident investigation. Cranford Police officers subsequently located the suspect vehicle on Centennial Avenue. During the course of an on scene investigation 57-year-old Michael Casey of Commack, NY was charged with Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest and Terroristic Threats after assaulting an officer. Casey was released pending a Superior Court date.
17. On 09/28/2026 at 11:15 PM during a motor stop on North Avenue 29-year-old Kery Salcedobautista of Plainfield, NJ was charged with Improper Transport of a Firearm. Salcedobautista was issued one motor vehicle summons and released pending a Superior Court date.
