Overnight Attempted Residential Burglary
On December 10th 2023 at approximately 08:00AM, Patrol Units responded to a Brookide Place address on the report of an attempted residential burglary. The homeowner awoke and noticed that a back window was wide open. Upon closer inspection, the homeowner realized that their back gate was opened, despite being secured shut by the homeowner last evening at approximately midnight. It should be noted that there was a locked BMW parked on the victim's property.
Residents are encouraged to continue being vigilant in locking not only their vehicles, but also ensuring that their homes are secured during overnight hours. Also, check that your security cameras are operational.
