10/06/2023 @ 2300 hours– Centennial Avenue at the Garden State Parkway Interchange

Remarks:
On 10/06/2023 at approximately 2300 hours, police were dispatched to the area of Centennial Avenue near the Garden State Parkway Interchange on the report of a motor vehicle crash. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Michael Gamba arrested a driver of a 2019 Silver Jeep, Cassandra Deckle of Cliffwood Beach NJ, for driving while intoxicated. Deckle was processed and provided a Municipal Court Appearance Date. In addition, Deckle was issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to observe a traffic signal, careless driving and refusing to submit to breath testing.

On 10/07/2023 at approximately 0141 hours, police stopped a 2017 White Jeep on Centennial Avenue Hayes Street for a moving violation. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Jason Ingram arrested Kiyasia Whetstone of East Orange NJ for driving while intoxicated. Whetstone was processed and provided a Municipal Court Appearance Date. In addition, Whetstone was issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to observe a traffic signal, failure to exhibit documents, and driving while suspended.

Remarks
On 10/09/2023 at approximately 2234 hours, police stopped a 2003 Silver Mitsubishi on the 500 block of North Avenue East for a moving violation. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Antonio Bellomo arrested the driver, Timothy Hackett of Union NJ,for possession of CDS Heroin and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Hackett was processed and provided a Superior Court Appearance Date. In addition, Hackett was issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to maintain lane, fictitious display of plates, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle and failure to exhibit documents.

On 10/10/2023 at approximately 2328 hours, police stopped a Gray 2003 Honda on North Avenue at Forest Avenue for an equipment violation. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Antonio Bellomo arrested Luis Bonilla of Roselle NJ for possession of CDS cocaine and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Bonilla was processed and provided a Superior Court Appearance Date. In addition, Bonilla was issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to maintain lamps, view obstruction, unlicensed driver, and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle.

On 10/11/2023 at approximately 2245 hours, police stopped a 2005 Black Honda on Cayuga Road at Munsee Drive for a moving violation. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Ryan McSharry arrested Samuel Soto of North Plainfield NJ for driving while intoxicated and disorderly conduct. Soto was processed and provided a Municipal Court Appearance Date. In addition, Soto was issued motor vehicle summonses for refusing to submit to breath testing, careless driving, tailgating, improper turn, failure to signal turn, and unsafe lane change.

On 10/13/2023 at approximately 2059 hours, police were dispatched to a business on the 300 block of North Avenue East on the report of a motor vehicle crash. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Jason Ingram arrested the driver of a 2016 Maroon Volkswagen, Joseph Picciano of Newark Delaware, for driving while intoxicated. Picciano was processed and provided a Municipal Court Appearance Date. In addition, Picciano was issued motor vehicle summonses for consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, failure to exhibit documents, and having an unregistered vehicle.
