Remarks:
On 10/15/2023 at approximately 01:26 hours, police responded to the 400 block of Brookside Place on the report of a three-car motor vehicle accident. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Rameil King arrested a driver, Gabriel Law of Garwood, NJ, for driving while intoxicated. Law was processed and provided a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Law was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, use of cellular phone while driving, and delaying traffic.

Remarks:
On 10/17/2023 at approximately 23:04 hours, police responded to the 500 block of North Avenue on the report of a single car motor vehicle accident. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Antonio Bellomo arrested the driver, Marc Joseph of Roselle Park, NJ, for driving while intoxicated. Joseph was processed and provided a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Joseph was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, and failure to submit to breath samples.

Remarks :
On 10/18/2023 approximately 02:22 hours, police stopped a 2021 Alfa Romeo at the intersection of Centennial Avenue at Raritan Road for equipment violations. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Ryan McSharry arrested the driver, Marcus Brent and passenger, Alziarre Williams, both of Newark NJ, for possession of CDS- prescription narcotics. Additionally, Williams was charged with obstruction and resisting arrest. Both were processed and issued a Union County Superior Court date.
10/26/2023 @ 19:43 hours– Miln Street at Alden Street

Remarks:
On 10/26/2023 at approximately 19:43 hours, officers were dispatched to area of Walnut Avenue near South Avenue East for the report of an erratic driver. Police subsequently located and stopped a 2012 Ford on Miln Street near Alden Street. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Travis Freeman arrested the driver, Giorgi Odikadze of New Providence NJ, for possession of cocaine and heroin. Odikadze was processed and provided a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, Odikadze was issued a motor vehicle summons for having CDS in a motor vehicle.
11/02/2023 @ 15:10 hours– 50 block of South Avenue

Remarks:
On 11/02/2023 at approximately 15:10 hours, police were dispatched to a business on the 50 block of South Avenue on the report of a shoplifting. After being provided with a description of the suspect, officers subsequently located an individual matching the provided description on the railroad tracks. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Courtney Meyer arrested Andre Lutas of Elizabeth NJ for shoplifting numerous electronic shaving razors. Lutas was processed and provided a Superior Court appearance date.
11/03/2023 @ 21:43 hours– Linden Place at Casino Avenue

Remarks:
On 11/03/2023 at approximately 19:43 hours Officer Christopher Folinusz stopped a 2004 Nissan at the intersection of Linden Place and Casino Avenue for numerous moving violations. Subsequent to an investigation, Officer Folinusz arrested the driver, Michael Dimodica of Garwood NJ, for Possession of CDS- cocaine. Additionally, Dimodica was issued the following motor vehicle summonses: driving while suspended, failure to yield, unsafe lane change, failure to wear a seatbelt and having CDS in a motor vehicle.
