Orange Avenue at Riverside Drive
Arrested: Ashley Dennison, 33, West Milford
Arrested by: Sergeant Steven D’Ambola
Charges: Hindering Apprehension
Remarks: On 09/06/2021 at approximately 1922 hours, Sergeant Steven D’Ambola conducted a motor vehicle stop of a 2016 Ford Rental van stopped in the middle of Orange Avenue at Wadsworth Terrace. Subsequently, Sergeant D’Ambola charged the driver, later identified as Ashley Dennison, with hindering apprehension. Dennison was charged on 11/10/2021 and provided a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Dennison was issued motor vehicle summonses for delaying traffic and driving while suspended.

400 Block of South Avenue East
Arrested: Genesis Goris, 26, Binghamton NY; Jayquan Singleton, 28, Hinesville GA
Arrested by: Detective Christopher DiFabio
Charges: Bad Checks
Remarks: On 11/01/2021 at approximately 1645 hours, police units were dispatched to a business on the 400 block of South Avenue East on a report of individuals attempting to pass fraudulent checks. Subsequent to an investigation, Detective Christopher DiFabio arrested Genesis Goris and Jayquan Singleton for bad checks. Goris and Singleton were processed and provided a Superior Court appearance date.
3. 11/09/2021 @ 0047 hours
North Avenue West at Eastman Street
Arrested: Jonathan Parisi, 32, Scotch Plains
Arrested by: Patrolman Robert Chamra
Charges: Possession of CDS Heroin; Possession of CDS Paraphernalia
Remarks: On 11/09/2021 at approximately 0047 hours, a black 2015 Chrysler was stopped on North Avenue West and Eastman Street for not having its headlamps on. Subsequent to an investigation, Patrolman Robert Chamra arrested Jonathan Parisi for possession of CDS heroin and CDS paraphernalia. Parisi was processed and provided a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, Parisi was issued motor vehicle summonses for driving without headlamps when required and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle.
4. 11/10/2021 @ 0213 hours
Centennial Avenue at Cayuga Road
Arrested: Christopher Patterson, 42, Irvington
Arrested by: Patrolman Nicholas Cook
Charges: Driving While Intoxicated, Obstruction of Justice, Resisting Arrest
Remarks: On 11/10/2021 at approximately 0213 hours, a 2011 Green Buick was located by Patrolman Nicholas Cook stopped on the curbing at the intersection of Centennial Avenue at Cayuga Road. Additionally, Police Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call reporting a disabled vehicle at this same intersection. Subsequent to an investigation on scene, Patrolman Nicholas Cook arrested the driver, Christopher Patterson, for driving while intoxicated, obstruction of justice, and resisting arrested. Patterson was processed and provided a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Patterson was issued multiple motor vehicle summonses including refusal to submit to breath tests, careless driving, reckless driving, obstructing passage of vehicles, delaying traffic, and unsafe lane change.
