Ada Township - Mich:  On 4/21/2019 Deputies with the Kent County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of an armed robbery of a person in the 6000 block of Ada Dr. SE. The victim in this case was arriving to church when she was approached by 52 year old female with a knife. The suspect was scared off and fled when others arrived in the parking lot. Deputies were able to locate the suspect vehicle a short distance away from the scene where a traffic stop was conducted and the suspect was taken into custody.

Wyoming Police responded to a separate armed robbery earlier in the morning, and while both investigations are ongoing, it appears that the two cases are connected, as they involve the same suspect.
