ARRESTED | KCSO Investigating Bank Robbery in Algoma Township

SUSPECT ARRESTED |  Yesterday, KCSO deputies and detectives arrested a 27-year-old Cadillac area man for bank robbery.  With the help of the Michigan State Police Cadillac Post, the KCSO conducted a search warrant at a Wexford County home resulting in the arrest.  The man is expected to be arraigned on charges of bank robbery in 63rd District Court.

ALGOMA TOWNSHIP, Mich:  Just after 11:00 AM this morning the Fifth Third Bank on 10 Mile Rd near Belmont Ave was robbed.  The suspect did not show or imply any weapons and no injuries were incurred.  KCSO deputies were assisted by the Rockford Police Department and Michigan State Police K9 Team in searching the area, however the suspect remains at large at this time.  The suspect was described as a middle aged white male, wearing a University of Michigan hat and long sleeve shirt, dark pants, and a surgical mask.  KCSO detectives will continue the investigation along with the FBI.
