CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (Jan. 20, 2021) - On 01/20/2021 at 10:47 AM, deputies from the Kent County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Lake Michigan Credit Union, located at 5701 28th St SE in Cascade Township, on a bank robbery.

The suspect entered the bank, implied a weapon, and demanded cash from the employees. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s’ wearing blue jeans, a green sweatshirt with printed words, a blue surgical mask, and sunglasses. A picture of the suspect from the bank’s surveillance video is attached.
