Join the Kent County Sheriff's Office Marine Division on 02/22/2020 from 12pm to 5pm at the Grand Rapids Boat Show for a free one-day "Boating Safety Certification Course!" This class usually requires multiple-evening attendance so do not miss this opportunity to get your certification in just one day. A boating safety certificate is a legal necessity in order to operate a motorized boat or PWC without supervision for anyone born after 1978 and for those between the ages of 12 and 16 years old.

Participants should gather in the main entrance lobby of the DeVos Place Convention Center (303 Monroe Ave NW, Grand Rapids) and will be directed to the seminar room just before 12pm. At the conclusion of the class, participants will receive admittance to the entire boat show for free!
