CALEDONIA, Mich:  Today around 10:00 am Kent County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an industrial accident at the Caledonia Farmers Elevator.  A 58 year old male employee got his leg trapped in the auger of a grain silo while he was cleaning it.  Rescue crews just recently to extricated him from the silo auger.  The 58 year old Ada resident was transported to Butterworth Hospital by Life Ambulance with a serious leg injury and was concious and alert.   Rescue efforts were a collaboration between Caledonia Fire, Life Ambulance, Aero Med, KCSO, and the Kentwood Fire Technical Rescue Unit.
