Join the KCSO in celebrating three generations of service to Kent County! Charlie Brown (far right) retired in 2003 as a detective, his son Scott (far left) retired in 2019 as county patrol captain, and his grandson Zach (middle) was recently hired as a corrections deputy. During Zach's swearing-in ceremony, Scott had the honor and privilege of pinning his son's badge on his uniform, just as Charlie did for Scott in 1994.

The Brown family was destined to wear KCSO brown! What an incredibly special day for the Brown family and the residents of Kent County. We are so appreciative to Charlie, Scott, and Zach for their service to our community!
