The Kent County Sheriff's Office is hosting its first-ever Latinx Citizen Police Academy, starting later this month! Attendees will become familiarized with the daily operations of the KCSO and learn the significant obstacles that officers face each day. They will learn about KCSO departmental resources and divisions, including the crime scene unit, emergency communications center, road patrol, and corrections. Attendees will also discover different programs the KCSO offers and meet members of the #KCSOFamily.

The Academy, which is hosted in Spanish, will run each Thursday starting August 19 through September 23 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. If you are interested in attending this FREE Academy, contact Sergeant Hernandez for additional information or register online.
