BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich:  On December 4, 2021 at 8:20PM the Kent County Sheriff's Office responded to a car/pedestrian accident at S. Division & 60th St in Byron Twp.  When deputies arrived they found the pedestrian who was struck deceased from her injuries.  The pedestrian was a 46 year old woman from the city of Kentwood who was struck while attempting to cross S Division Ave.  The driver of the vehicle did not suffer any injuries.  Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor.  The crash remains under investigation at this time.
