VERGENNES TOWNSHIP, Mich:  Just before 8:30 AM this morning a pickup truck was traveling westbound on Bailey Dr NE near Cumberland Ave NE and drifted off of the roadway striking a tree.  No other vehicles were involved in the crash.  The driver, a 52-year-old Ada Township man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.  The KCSO Traffic Safety Unit is investigating and will work with the Kent County Medical Examiner's Office on any further findings.
