GAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich:  Around 6:00 AM this morning the KCSO responded to the 6100 Block of Kran Ave SE after reports of a shot being fired.  While responding, it was learned that a person with a gunshot wound showed up at a local hospital.  No persons were located at the scene of the shooting.  Initial information reveals that multiple shots were fired within a home along Kran Ave.  The person struck was the 27-year-old male resident, who is in stable condition at a local hospital.  Investigators are still working to determine descriptions of those involved, but do not believe there is a public threat at this time.
