BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich:  Today at 10:55 a.m. we responded to a report of a bank robbery at the Lake Michigan Credit Union on 84th St SW in Byron Township.  The suspect presented a note and fled with an unknown about of money.  Grand Rapids Police K9 assisted deputies checking the surrounding area and as of this release the suspect is still outstanding and the incident remains under investigation.

The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 50 years old. He is said to be 5'10" with a thin build wearing a black jacket, pants, a black hat, and he was wearing a surgical mask with the blue side out.  The suspect was described as having a darker complexion; however, he had a large patch of lighter pigmented skin on the left side of his neck.  We are unsure if it was a birth mark or scar.
