Tomorrow, from 5:30-7:30pm the Kent County Sheriff's Office will be hosting a Volunteer Fair. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about how to get involved in their community by volunteering with programs such as Victim Advocates, Search & Rescue, Mounted Unit, and Kent County Emergency Services Team, just to name a few. This week is also Volunteer Appreciation Week. KCSO's volunteers are crucial in supporting our mission and is a great way to give back to your community.
After a presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to meet with current volunteers and coordinators to get more information about the specific programs they are interested in:
• Handicap Parking Enforcement Patrol
• Victim Advocates
• Public Relations Call Takers
• Trail Patrol
• Traffic Squad
• Mounted Unit
• Medical Reserve Corps
• Kent County Emergency Services Team (KCEST)
o Search and Rescue
o Communications Unit
o General Volunteer
