Incident Type: 911 Outage Restored

KENT COUNTY, Mich:  While we were impacted by this morning's 911 outage, Kent County 911 services are fully operational at this time.  At approximately 4:00 a.m. we experienced some 911 impairments but were able to reconnect with the dropped callers.  Shortly after 5:00 a.m. our systems appeared to be back online.  A complete diagnostic report will be completed in the coming days to ascertain the extent of the outage in Kent County.

In an emergency, Kent County residents should call 911 first.  We have been informed that intermittent outages may be possible, so if your call doesn't go through, call 616-632-6357, which is a non-emergency line directly into our dispatch center.
