Gaines Twp (Mich): Just after midnight on 9/19/2022 the KCSO assisted the Cutlerville Fire Department on reports of a house explosion and fire. Deputies arrived to find a female trapped on the back porch of the residence but were unable to reach her. Cutlerville, Dutton, and Kentwood firefighters arrived and were able to reach the trapped woman while KCSO deputies helped get a water line to the backyard. The following body-worn camera video shows the moments deputies helped get water to the back deck and firefighters were pulling the woman from the deck. The resident is at an area hospital in critical condition. The Cutlerville Fire Department is continuing the fire investigation.
