The Hamilton Road (Route 695) Bridge over the South Anna River in Louisa County’s Green Springs Historic District will close to all traffic beginning Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Vehicles are encouraged to detour on E Jack Jouett Road (Route 640) or Poindexter Road (Route 613) while the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) establishes a signed detour route that avoids all reduced-weight structures.
