The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office’s Communications Unit has been inundated with citizens inquiring about rumors of an active shooter in the area of Zion Crossroads/Troy and interstate 64.

The Fluvanna County Sheriff's Office has released the following information regarding those rumors. In an attempt to stop the progression of the misinformation, the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office is also pushing out the same release to quell the communities fear.
