On May 14, 2025, at approximately 8:30 a.m., a 43-year-old male observed a person known to them, sleeping inside a vehicle in the 1700 block of 2 Avenue NE. Concerned for the individual's wellbeing, the complainant opened the vehicle door to check on him. The male exited the vehicle armed with a tool and began swinging it at the complainant. The complainant managed to disarm the individual and attempted to walk away, at which point he was punched in the face and head. This initial incident was not reported to police.
Later that day, around 12:00 p.m., the same male forcibly entered the complainant’s residence by kicking in the door. Armed with what appeared to be a baseball bat, the suspect struck the complainant multiple times. As the victim attempted to flee, he was confronted outside by a 20-year-old male and a 15-year-old female, who deployed bear spray against him.
Following an investigation, the following individuals have been charged:
All three individuals were held for Judicial Interim Release Hearings.
