On September 23, 2019 at approximately 8:15 AM a motor vehicle collision was reported on Division Avenue NW at the intersection of 8^th Street NW, involving three vehicles travelling northbound on Division Avenue NW.

The collision occurred when a Ford truck slowed for traffic at a red light and was then hit from behind by a Kia Sorento and a Chevrolet Impala that followed. The female driver of the Sorento was transported to hospital for treatment of minor injuries, while none of the other drivers or occupants of the other vehicles reported physical injuries. Total damage to the involved vehicles is estimated at $8,000.

The MHPS Traffic Unit continues to investigate and charges are pending upon completion of the investigation.
