During the evening hours of May 20th, 2025, members of the Medicine Hat Police Service Patrol Section responded to a report of a truck colliding with a house on the 600 block Prospect Drive SW. Upon investigation it was determined that a vehicle had collided with the door of an attached garage, travelling through the door and striking with a parked vehicle inside. No one was injured because of the collision; however a 32-year-old Medicine Hat man was taken to the hospital for an examination as a precaution. Total damage sustained from the collision is estimated to be more than $75,000. The matter remains under investigation.
