A search warrant is underway at a home in Medicine Hat as part of an ALERT investigation into suspected drug production.

ALERT organized crime unit, along with the RCMP’s Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement Response Team (CLEAR), are in the process of searching the home. The search warrant execution took place on October 9, 2025.

The home is located on 12 Street NW. 

There is no perceived risk to the public, but people are asked to avoid the area. Local residents can expect to see a heavy presence of emergency services.

Two people were taken into custody.

Members of the public who suspect drug or gang activity in their community can report to the Medicine Hat Police Service by calling 403-529-8481 or submit a tip online (anonymously if preferred) via the MHPS website (mhps.ca) or mobile app.
