On October 21, 2025, at approximately 5:00 PM, the Medicine Hat Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 8 Street NE and Division Avenue North. The investigation determined that a Ford Focus struck a pedestrian who was crossing the street. The pedestrian sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital for treatment.

The Medicine Hat Police Service Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation.  Any witnesses or individuals with information or video footage of the incident are requested to contact 403-529-8481.
