On Saturday, April 1, 2023, at around 1:00 pm members of the Medicine Hat Police Service responded to a report of a suspicious device located in the area of Cactus Street SW. The item was safely removed with support from the MHPS Explosives Disposal Unit. There were no injuries as a result of this incident and the matter is now being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Section.
