On October 3rd at 10:09 hours a dump truck was westbound on 6th St SE, proceeding straight through the intersection towards 6th St SW at Division Ave on a green light A 2013 Chevrolet Equinox was southbound on Division Ave S. The Equinox proceeded through red light without stopping into path of westbound dump truck. Collision was a “ t-bone” impact, with the entire driver's side of the Equinox coming in contact with the front of the dump truck.
Air bags were deployed in the Equinox, the male driver was transported by EMS to the hospital with undetermined injurious. No injuries to the driver of the dump truck, no other occupants in the Equinox. Approximately $20,000 damage resulting from the collision. The male driver was charged for Failing to Stop at a Red Light
