ARREST FOR COMMERCIAL BURGLARIES

Alexander Gomez Santiago, a resident of unincorporated Collier County, has been arrested by Naples Police detectives following an investigation into four separate commercial burglaries that occurred between May 2024 and May 2025.

The offenses took place at:

  • Tucker Station (960 Central Avenue) — on two occasions
  • Treasure Island (950 Central Avenue)
  • The Shelter Options Shoppe (968 2nd Avenue North)

Gomez Santiago forcibly entered the closed businesses during the late night and early morning hours, stealing items from within. He was identified through DNA evidence left at the scenes and video surveillance footage.

On October 3rd, detectives located Gomez Santiago and transported him to the Naples Jail Center. He has been charged with multiple counts of burglary and grand theft related to the four incidents.
