November 30th, -0001 12:00 am

The Naples Police Department is proud to announce the launch of Operation Safe Streets II, a seasonal traffic safety initiative running from October 2025 through May 2026.

This targeted program is designed to reduce traffic violations and crashes throughout the city through enhanced enforcement and community engagement.

Last year’s Operation Safe Streets resulted in:

  • 11,124 Traffic Stops
  • 4,580 Citations
  • 5,467 Written Warnings
  • 3,389 Verbal Warnings
  • 104 Criminal Charges

This year, our focus continues on high-risk driving behaviors such as:

  • Red light running
  • Excessive speed
  • Distracted driving
  • Aggressive driving
  • DUI offenses

“Our goal is simple — to save lives and prevent crashes,” said Chief Ciro Dominguez. “Through proactive enforcement and community collaboration, Safe Streets II reflects our ongoing commitment to keeping Naples’ roads safe for everyone.”

Stay alert, obey posted signs, and drive responsibly. Together, we can keep our community safe.
